The first thing one should do in order to put Spamhaus data into proper use is understanding the terminology used, the datasets available and what they are intended to do.

• IP-based primary data sets (ZEN) are SBL, XBL, PBL, but then it also includes CCS and DROP

• Domain data sets are DBL and ZRD

• Other data sets for specific uses include DROP and AuthBL
